In the ninth in the “Beyond the Basics” series of webinars titled “Beyond the Basics of Determining Eligibility for Premium Tax Credits,” we a deeper look at how marketplaces determine eligibility for advance payments of premium tax credits and how the IRS makes the final determination of eligibility.  We review the basic eligibility rules such as income and household size and how the IRS reconciles advance payments to the final determination it makes of the premium tax credit.  We also review the rules for verifying income of applicants for premium tax credits.
